Frame of mind

Photography, at its best, can capture the soul.

Presentation completes the picture, from mattes to moldings. Most recently my days have been spent with Designer Fabric and Frames in Medford, Oregon, giving me the knowledge I feed to fuse the worlds of framing and photography to take take my art to a new level.

Raised and educated in Santa Cruz, one of the most scenic of California’s coastal communities, I moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1977 to pursue my reverence for the written word through visual graphics. What I found was a region deep in photographic understanding and natural beauty. After 30 years of award-winning photojournalism, exploring this other interest has helped me find a niche within the Southern Oregon art community.

I also offer limited edition scenic prints, portraits, wedding and event photography – all while drawing on the journalism experience I've gained over the years to provide a unique passion and perspective for my customers.
